About
Welcome to kpb Pilates! Kristen is an Atlanta native with a lifelong passion for helping people move with greater ease and confidence. After earning her BA in Dance from Birmingham-Southern College, she moved to New York City to deepen her training in Pilates. There, she apprenticed under Melissa Wolfe-Rosebro, a student of Deborah Lessen, before becoming a student of Deborah herself. Kristen earned her Pilates Method Alliance certification in 2012 and is now recognized by the National Pilates Certification Program. Committed to continued learning, she has studied with leaders in the Pilates community, including Irene Dowd. Her drive to expand her impact led her to pursue a second career: in 2022, she graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College with an Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, earning her license the following year. Today, Kristen balances her professional work with raising two young children, one with physical special needs. While taking time away from full-time PTA work, she is excited to share her knowledge and passion with the East Cobb community through Pilates—helping clients move better, feel better, improve posture, strengthen their core, and find greater balance in body and life. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll likely find Kristen driving her kids to activities, organizing neighborhood events, teaching preschool Sunday School, sneaking into a tap class, cheering on the Tide, or—when possible—enjoying a well-earned nap.Business Hours
